We have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Croatia - what a beautiful place. 9 of us stayed at Villa Leonore in the last week of August. We were a mixed group of 14-74 year olds and it really did meet all of our needs. We had everything we needed from a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms, a great pool and outdoor area where we could relax and have bbqs. The beach is a very short walk and down there you have beach bars to grab some food or have a drink. The supermarket is about a 10 min walk away. We did not hire a car but this was not really a problem. We could walk in to Omis, about 20 mins, where there is a great selection of food and activities. We did the zipline, hired a boat to go to Brac and went into Split for the day. We also enjoyed some of the other beaches on the other side of Omis. The bus system is good and you can get around easily. Mirna, our host was fantastic -as were her brother and dad. They met us at the Villa and showed us around. Mirna and her family have thought of every detail! They provided Google Maps recommendations on restaurants, activities and travel and helped me out with getting to and from places. You will not be disappointed with this accommodation and location!

I cannot recommend Villa Leonore highly enough! We are a family of 10 of 3 generations spanning from age 6 to 74. We travel a lot together and this was one of the best places we have stayed. Before we even got to the villa Mirna was so accommodating, giving us good information in her emails about trips to do, supermarkets etc. When we arrived Mirna, her father Filip and her brother helped us with our cases and even took us to the supermarket for some essentials as we didn't have a car! I have never known hosts so hospitable. As for the villa itself, it is absolutely gorgeous. EVERYTHING has been thought of and provided for. Ample toilet rolls, toiletries, washing products, every appliance and utensil you can imagine and much more. We had ample room so we could all be together, or just chill by ourselves if necessary. The kids loved the heated pool which was a good size and nice temperature. The villa is in an amazing location being walking distance to the beach (literally 2 mins), supermarket and the beautiful town of Omis. There is also a bus stop near which goes to Split, but we just used Ubers. Mirna also gave us local info around taxis, takeaways etc. Do not hesitate to book this beautiful villa and enjoy this amazing part of the world.

Above and Beyond: This trip was a dream from start to finish. I originally enquired with the owners, asking various questions about the house and the area, before confirming my booking. The owner's Mirna and Filip responded to me quickly and efficiently, with all the necessary information required, as well as lots of additional information and recommendations. The level of service that we received from the owners was truly outstanding, from start to finish. We have booked many villas, all over the world and the service that they provided was second to none! The house itself is beautiful and spacious and in a great location. The pool gets the sun all day long and has plenty of shaded areas. The house is literally over the road from the beach and roughly a 20-30 minute walk to the centre of Omis (depending on how quickly you walk and how hot it is) Omis itself is a stunning little town with quite a lot going on. There are lots of activities in the immediate vicinity, including white water rafting and a zip line. You can also do various boat trips over to the islands from Omis. Overall, this holiday couldn't have been better. I would highly recommend the villa, the location, and mostly the owners Mirna and Filip, who really made our trip extra special. We will definitely be returning!

We were a group of 3 families with teenagers and found it to be a fantastic location, with the sandy beach of Duće only 5 mins walk from the villa, with some lovely beach cafes etc, the beautiful town of Omis around a 20 minute walk where we went white water rafting and zip lining as well as exploring the old town and climbing the fortress- there’s plenty to do and loads of places to eat/drink. We also got the bus to Split- (2 mins to bus stop) -a bigger city and we were glad we’d opted to stay outside of the main city, but it’s definitely worth exploring, there are many beautiful things to see, and we also got the ferry from Split to beautiful Hvar town. We went out to visit Croatia as a family of nine- 7 adults and 2 children, and we had the time of our lives here at Filip's gorgeous villa. The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. We had never been to Croatia before, and did not know the area/culture, but after communicating with Mirna I felt at ease and relaxed as she was so thorough with her advice, check in info, and general information of the area. She provided me with everything I needed to know and more. We told Mirna our itinerary and she provided tonnes of advice and recommendations for us during our stay. As for the villa itself, well what can I say? It was a dream- so clean, so well kept and well equipped. We had a PS3 for the kids, huge TV's in most rooms with access to Netflix etc, and strong WIFI as I needed to work periodically throughout my stay.
The pool was incredible, very clean and well kept. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and we cooked in most nights, eating al fresco on the table outside. We even used the BBQ one night and it was delicious! Villa Leonore is located about 10mins walk from the shop- but there are two bicycles provided which made shopping a breeze. We frequented the gorgeous beach bars below the Villa, Shookoo Bar and LOCAL bar- stunning food. We travelled into Omis for the beach one day, but quickly discovered that the beach below the villa is even more beautiful and so we stayed local mostly.
TIPS:
Taxis- Use 'bolt' app for airport transfers and getting into Split etc
Omis- spend the afternoon here for a little wander and some good food. We loved wandering and even climbed up half way to the castle for the view
Boat Trip- A MUST!! Use Boat Paula for a private rental to Brac and lunch on the island. Highlight of our stay!
Beach- stick to the local beach below the villa, it's gorgeous.
Shopping- there is a local shop 10mins walk/3min cycle from the villa- there are pool toys and inflatables at the villa so don't go splurging.
Split- we loved Split, it was stunning and drenched in history, we had a lovely meal and walked the promenade. Go bye 'Bolt' taxi for £20

Diese Villa ist perfekt für einen tollen Urlaub mit Freunden oder Familie. Wir waren mit 5 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern hier und hatten eine entspannte Zeit- es gibt ausreichend Privatsphäre für alle-vier Schlafzimmer haben ein eigenes En-suite-Badezimmer und einen eigenen Fernseher. Zudem gibt es noch ein fünftes Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, in dem sich unsere Kinder sehr wohlgefühlt haben . Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine Toilette im Erdgeschoss. Alle Zimmer haben einen eigenen Balkonzugang. Toll waren auch der kurze Weg zum Sandstrand, die beiden Fahrräder, der Pool, der Mini-Billardtisch, der Kicker, der Basketballkorb, die Whirlpool-Wanne. Alles war perfekt sauber und die Küche besser ausgestattet, als meine eigene. Das Wohnzimmer bietet genug Platz und mit dem großen Fernseher und der riesigen Couch fast Kinoatmosphäre. Nicht zu vergessen Mirna und ihre Familie sind tolle Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war perfekt und sie waren sehr bemüht darum, dass wir eine tolle Zeit haben.

Zudem gibt es noch ein fünftes Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, in dem sich unsere Kinder sehr wohlgefühlt haben . Zusätzlich gibt es noch eine Toilette im Erdgeschoss. Alle Zimmer haben einen eigenen Balkonzugang. Toll waren auch der kurze Weg zum Sandstrand, die beiden Fahrräder, der Pool, der Mini-Billardtisch, der Kicker, der Basketballkorb, die Whirlpool-Wanne. Alles war perfekt sauber und die Küche besser ausgestattet, als meine eigene. Das Wohnzimmer bietet genug Platz und mit dem großen Fernseher und der riesigen Couch fast Kinoatmosphäre. Nicht zu vergessen Mirna und ihre Familie sind tolle Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war perfekt und sie waren sehr bemüht darum, dass wir eine tolle Zeit haben.
Die Villa Leonore ist absolut empfehlenswert und den Preis wert!!!
